These mapping programmes - it seems that all the world and their wives have produced one - It could be that the engine that drives them from OStmap is pretty easy to get hold of - after that it may just be a matter of wrapping the core in whatever flavour you want

I've looked them up on Google play store and there are numerous to choose from. The first one I looked at wanted an unhealthy amount of personal info.
ISTR that one was recommended by someone on here a while ago.

I have used Oruxmaps for route planning and bike navigation with Andormap offline maps. These have off-road routes based on Opencyclemaps with different themes depending whether you are using them for off-road or on-road. You load up the country maps using wifi for where you are going then don't need a data connection. I have used it as the only means of navigation for tours in France, Germany, Austria, Australia and even Oman.
