and such a sublime anti-perspirant 
i have to say that i was a touch chilly as i set off, one look at my chest was enough to convict me of smuggling peanuts but - how lovely my ride in was once i warmed up.
i've seen it said before on these very forums that some of us like the 'red arm' as you adjust to the temperature and i think that this morning was my first 6am experience of that. i also noticed the non-energy sapping effect that a morning sun has against say, a midday sun - it was bright and sunny enough to make me squint at times (though that may just be my age and poor eyesight) but not once did i huff or puff. alright then, up the incline on the road section i did but that was vanquished in 5th gear, not 4th nor 3rd as is sometimes the case.
anyway, enough of my morning musing - must do some work now i'm here
