I don't think Amazon and Google like each other very much.

I thought one of them does no evil, and the other one is famous for zero hours contracts. Or some such i cant recall.

It would be a pita for a while but only because l use gmail.
I use a different search engine but l have an idea they piggy back their searches.
Might be on my phone but...tbh l dont know if thats just what came with the phone or not.
They provide a good service but they want their pound of flesh.

Depends on how much you value your privacy and how convenient they are.

I use their storage for all my photos. I think it’s great

Google lifted all my photos off Picasa and dumped them in an untidy heap on Google Photos.
I think it's ******* .
They have also lost my Gmail address.
I don't like Google.

It would quite the pain to lose access to google services, all my photos are saved there, my emails, documents and saved maps and favourited locations. Oh and google voice which is godsend in avoiding bullsh!t calls from vendors, contractors and other unwanted hawkers.

Blocked Gmail accounts are usually because the address has been used for spamming.

Haven't been getting any odd emails or stuff bouncing back.
