I'm tending to buy and clone more American hoppy pale ales, Sierra nevada or Blue moon. Think its mainly the time of year as I love a chocolate stout in the winter.

When in the pub though I go for Snecklifter, loyalty card

Moriau geuze. Unfortunately, it's not easy to find and I have to order it from Belgium which isn't exactly cheap.

Currently I'm drinking (and making, but just not quite fast enough) Limoncello. It's lovely with sparking water or tonic. My current favorite wine is a M&S red from Majorca, Santa Maria Del Cami Binissalem

While not wanting to generalise there are lots of quite interesting revivals going on there. Maybe it's the Wright Brothers style workshop ethic coming through again.

I think its more to do with the yanks getting fed up of awful beer made with poor adjuncts.
Beer wars the movie explains a good deal of how craft homebrewers came to sell their beers and the struggle it took them......not really a date movie though^_^

I really liked the IPAs in the US - there's some really nice beer there nowadays.

Been lucky enough to have tasted a few around the Boston area and was given lots of free samples when the Red sox won the world series for the first time in 50 years....oh that was a good night (hic)

ouch - overhopping is overrated, I've pretty much had enough of all beers starting to taste like grapegruit and my mouth turning inside out. Aaaaaanyway, favourite beers at the moment:
Corsendonck
Achel Trappist (this would probably be Westvleteren if I could get hold of it more often)
Grain Brewery Porter
Kernel export stout
DuckRabbit brewery Milk Stout - had this one at the Cask in Pimlico - a very fine establishment, it's really good, quite sweet though.
