By coincidence myself and Mrs D have been given a similar voucher but for Bents garden centre near Warrington.
Very nice.......but neither of us eats cakes (or anything sweet really).
We had a coffee each with one scone plus the jam & cream between us. We just managed that.

That wasn't the case in the York one last year, most of the staff were local and looked like they'd worked the for about 20 years . Been a while since I went to the one in Harrogate

I love Betty's and I especially love the Victorian style old fashioned waitress outfits that their staff wear!
