Life is just toooo hard.
Ok, I've given in to all those whinges about the white handlebar tape on my lovely Cube road bike.
Ok, yes it is getting all grubbyish.
Ok, I'll change it to black and yes I know it'll look better.
But ... nobody told me I'd find 222 pages related to handlebar tape on the Evans Cycles website.
How in God's name am I supposed to choose which type to use.
Really ... why does life have to be so complicated?
I just want some flippin' black handlibar tape ... please.
HELP!

(PS ... go easy on me folks. This really is all I have to worry about in my sad little life.)

(PPS If you'd rather be out ridin' in this glorious weather, feel free to ignore this stupid request)

(PPPS Sod it. I'm off out on the MTB instead.) :bicycle:

Ignore Evans' website and go to your LBS and ask them. I have Bontrager Gel tape on my Giant and it's great. I have generic Planet X cork tape on my PX and it's not so great.

It's much easier to go to a shop and have a good old prod and poke, maybe even an actual chat with someone.

Have a nice ride. Don't worry about the whole bar-tape thing so much. My seat and tape don't match but I still go out and ride on the offchance that the sun will bleach the bar tape and that riding a lot will make my brilliant white saddle grubbier so that they will match:laugh:

Trouble is bags of chips don't make very good bar tape!
And if were me I would be more upset about the dreadful frame welds on Cube bikes.
OH NO! Now ... not content with the jibes I've received about my white tape ... NOW I have to buy a new bike.
Oh my God!!!!
