Ive just had a phone call telling me my boat has broken free in the floods and is heading down the river Thames . Gas and petrol onboard . Ive called everyone I can think of to put out a warning but all anyone can do is wait and see where she ends up . Hopefully not on the bottom !

Actually the EA have not got in touch with me yet . It was the local lock keepers putting local reports together and matching up the reports to find the owners . These are the lock keepers the EA want rid of !
Im not sure how but it seems she got out of the main stream , between some moored boats and ended up in someones flooded garden . They got home from the pub to find my boat peering through their bedroom window . Shes been secured back on the river and the land owners have been kind enough to allow me to leave it there until the river drops a bit .
Shes no Gin palace , more of a beer and cheap wine speak easy
but shes mine
