I went into Wiggle tonight to buy some Isogel on a BOGOF offer and some Shimano A530 pedals at half price. I added both to my basket and then browsed some SPD shoes, only to find that, when I returned to my basket, you lot (I accept it may not have solely been down to CC members but you're handy) had bought the total stock of both items from under my nose!

Grrr.

Can't you go and buy stuff somewhere more expensive please?

You could always shop at Evans and spend 30 mins waiting to find a staff member and when you pin one down and ask "where are the Gilets" they dont know what your talking about.

For a moment, I thought perhaps you'd gone into Evans the ladies wear shop but even they sell gilets.

I've waited so long at the checkout in Evans before I've left my stuff and walked out - shocking

I went into the Canary Wharf Evans a few weeks back to buy shoes and when I asked him a simple question he actually shrugged at me and stared.

I generally favour Wiggle over Evans, and High on Bikes over Wiggle, although my latest bike purchase was with Evans. Evans are generally too expensive for most cycling paraphernalia.

I hate this store to service is awful.
The only store i actually like going into is Sigma Sport, i wanted a set of decent tyres and the assistant recommended a set(Vredestein) and im still using them now 1500 miles later.
