Oiling main hinge

The main folding hinge on my Brompton seems stiff*. Assume a little oil dribbled in will help? Never done it before in 4-5 years!

*I assume it needs oiling? The locking lever seemed stiff and and was slow opening and closing. I assumed this was my left hand causing problems as I have Parkinsons, but amusingly a bit of oil and it is light as anything

A drop of oil on there every now and again.

It might need it, and so might your knees

Funny cracking noise, knees....

Bored a hole in my frame and had a tiny bolt fitted to the hole. Take out the bolt and, using a vet syringe filled with 90 wt oil put a squirt in evey once in a while. It seeps out and more goes in. Lube is good on parts that rub.
