If any cat owner says they don't lick the top of their cat's head they are lying.

I've got my own 'inbuilt' version of that, my beard. Kizzy, Cinders, Smokey and sometimes Merlin all come and give me 'headbumps' and I reciprocate and nuzzle them back.
