I did indeed go and do something else and the answer occurred to me but I'm not going to tell you how I'm going to do it now, you can all do one.

C'mon

The new one arrives tomorrow and this one had the kitchen built around it with laminate in front. It's half out and whatever is at the back, doesn't look like adjustable feet, will not clear the laminate. So far the only way I can see of doing it is to rip all the pump bits out and knock it's back feet off, which sounds easy but isn't.

I'm sure the collective CC experience has done this before?

Mine has a screw on the front that adjusts the height at the back, and adjustable feet at the front

It doesn't but it does only have one adjustable foot at the back I thought it had two and I was looking at the wrong bit.

Cut a hole in the side of the adjacent unit and undo it all through it. Don't forget the whole thing goes a much better with lots of swearing.

Even after many years my wife has still failed to grasp that this is how work is done. If any effin and blinding etc goes on (and it does, a lot) she thinks there is a major problem and I'm in a mood, instead of just a trifling problem that can be easily overcome and it being normal behaviour for the average DIYer

oh OK then...

I'll have to cut the piece of laminate out immediately in front of it and then put a new piece back in when it's out and the other one is in. Probably have to buy one of those circular cutters to do it.

Unscrew the work surface from the underside, which may permit you to lift it up enough to get the machine out.

Or

Remove the cupboard next to the machine, even if you smash it out, a new carcass only costs about £30 this will then give you access to the rear, you can then remove the feet, with an angle grinder if necessary
