I had a guy on a mo-ped get so annoyed that I was keeping up with him that he cut right across the corner, on the wrong side of the road, on quite a sharp, small hill and then went a different way

I had to over-take a string of cars today as I came off a hill and managed to maintain my momementum on to the next ascent at aprx 30mph. There was no way I was slowing down for them so I just had to fly by on the outside!

It was very clever me going behind a lorry which was blocking the traffic as I was coming off of the South End of Blackfriars Bridge turning towards Waterloo.I would have got away with it but a car I was trying to also get past to complete the turn blocked me in as he moved very slightly. So I sort of snarled at offending motorist and he actually made an effort to move out the way (with a smile I hasten to add).In my horror though in the gridlock as he was pulling forward the van in front's reversing lights came on and I was hoping that they wern't going to collide. They didn't thankfully and said motorist was very good about it.

Just goes to show a bit of patience and I wouldn't have had a problem.

Coming back tonight via the Waterloo Bridge route I got mildly left hooked by a black cab so I called him a four letter work rhyming with bank while blasting him with the double barrelled horns.Yes I know it doesn't sound right but I must have just run out of breath or ideas.(or both)

I know there is a full moon coming up but im alright nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

I thought to myself that was a massive over reaction to a minor incident.

that's a horror show of a junction anyway. probably gives plenty of track stand practice mind…

Yes. It would be nice to cycle all the time through London in a mood of controlled, equitable yet assertive manner but we are all human. Add a bit of adrenaline, sweat, thousands of cars, thousands of pedestrians and hundreds of bikes. Mix in a flawed genius of a personality.

And we all end up acting sometimes in a way which we later regret.

Done it again, that route from Waterloo Bridge to Bank brings out the worst in me.;);)

I ride sensibly most of the time but I can't seem to give up drafting scooters. Once or twice I've managed to get past them too.

Get past them I nearly ended up on that tits lap last night.Or should I say I nearly ended up as his pillion passenger,he came out of nowhere without looking.

Then on the way back all the peds are stepping off of the pavement hailing scuds (cabs).

Waterloo Bridge to Bank is indeed a crazy route.
