I need to take my bike to the Nice Man In The Shop because the race blades I bought last week have me absolute baffled but I've a raging hangover and toothache from grinding my teeth in my sleep. Staying under a slankket with tea and the cat is a better option.

Yes I can, Yes I am, Yes I did...Repeat.
had a great ride today...nice and easy pace about 13mph ave 40 miles ...wanted to do more but hyerthermia was a serious risk so cut it short...mostly ice free but on the north side of devils dyke in the shade it was icey in places and man was it cold there!

Drivers behaving well today...well done children.

Posh lady in Poynings told me not to hurt her scottie mutt who was running freely barking at me between my wheels...so politely informed her that my saftey was more important to me than that of her dog who should be kept on a lead on a public road....Lady muck was not amused.

Stopped for ten mions to watch th ehang gliding peeps jumping off devils dyke...reminded me of an episode of fools and horses filmed up there.

Back locked up in the cold...agony for a few minutes...a good old stretch fixed it though to th eamusement of the sheep.

Missed my usual pre-church outing this morning since I slept in - so went out this afternoon instead.

The cold's fine with me. Frost was still on the ground in Dewsbury at 3pm.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
As predicted i did nt get out, putting the lads home made x mas decorations up instead.

Got the winter mtb/hybrid sorted out for tomorrows commute as i do not fancy the country lanes in the dark on roadie tyres.

I ran to work this morning - out of the house @ 04:50!!
(alarm went @ 03:30)
There was quite a few frosty/icy patches to watch out for, especially along Birkwood Road, where there's a leak from the water-pipes & it runs down the pavement for about 10 yards

Even running back home @ 14:45, it was still white over in the sheltered/in shadow areas.

Can have a lay in, in the morning, as I'm not leaving the house until 06:15:becool:

I took the dogs out for walkies around 0630 but I was pleasantly surprised as the temperature was nothing like yesterday! It was fresh, don't get me wrong, but not freezing!! Now having a coffee as today I'm working at 11:30.. Peace, music, feet up.. Bliss! :cuppa:
