Giving hope to men in sheds everywhere!

I agree! Think the original had different handlebars / singlesided front fork though. Why was it banned - when you look at it now - it's just a bike?

C50 with Dura Ace - no contest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes - it does impart a certain je ne sais quoi...

Actually, Keith I disagree with you. I don't think it's a cool bike at all - certainly nothing like the C40. My vote goes to the Ridgeback Flight 01. It is so sweetly and solidly put together, and the design just goes to prove that there are some that can and some that can't

The only time anyone young enough to know shouts 'cool bike!' in my experience is when on a recumbent of any kind...

Jim Glover's bike from 1985 anyone?

I think the fairing was to keep him dry during the winter but I may be wrong.

Nice, but I wonder how much that frame + forks weighs? I have a full-carbon road bike, probably has the same amount of carbon in it as that bike, perhaps less. I think the carbon wheels definitely clinch it though! And the wireless deraileurs are just trick

It was the superman riding position that was banned wasn't it? (Arms straight out in front as opposed to the bent arms seen on TT bikes now.)
