We could not maybe see you braking but it did look like there was a lot of pedaling going on.

Is it a cycle lane with a solid or broken white line? If the latter, you need to be cautious and aware...and slow down (can't see the video, so if you did brake, that's the right thing to do)

Solid! That's what made it worse.

It is a steep hill where you can easy get 30mph coasting so no need to pedal down it. Breaking happens anyway so I don't fly into the round about....

When something like this happens and it does I ask myself what I could have done to avoid the situation in the first place, even if it was not any fault of mine.
