So very soon we will be going to Dan's graduation.Well it appears our clothing is not up to standard. So this week our daughter has taken Mrs Postman shopping, and an outfit has been purchased,as i type the three of them are going in to town,to pick up some shoes also for Mrs Postman.I have got away lightly,i need a shirt,i have had no choice over the colour, except i have asked for a second shirt in blue,so i can attend funerals in it.My trousers passed the test,as did my twenty five year old blazer,as long as i keep it folded over my arm.It seems W I D E lapels are not back in fashion.
Now on a point of fashion,Dan ordered his suit ,while sat in a restaurant in Calan Bosch Menorca, trouble is he thinks the trousers are too long.I am 68 he is 22,in my day, trousers fell just over the laces and rested just above the back of the heel, just where his are now,NO NO NO it seems they have to rest near the ankle knuckle as i call it,:blink:.It seems i am out of touch.Looking forward to seeing him get his degree.

Fashion? Never heard of it.

I've just sewn the crotch of my skull shorts back together so I don't get reported when I'm sitting on the bench in the park.

Ha ha,the fashion team have returned, shirtless. It appears i am not worthy to wear a £45 shirt or even two for £60.The hunt will continue next week.Glad i'm not involved.I hope they find something because my two best shirts in very good condition went with some summer light coloured trousers to the charity shop this week.

The best male outfit was worn by a Nigerian dad, who is some sort of tribal chief and came in the full regalia. :becool:[/QUOTE]
He is probably a traditional ruler, my friend Ernest is one. He thoroughly enjoys it with the drummers, dancers and all but nowadays many often don't want to take up the post as it involves giving money to deserving people!

As for fashion I get most of my stuff from 'Obruni wa wo' (clothes from the dead white man) in the market which is brought in from Europe.

There may still be time to get them back if the charity shop hasn't been very busy.

As for Postmans original post. I have reached the stage where we occasionally look at old pictures of us from before we had kids (oldest is now 15) and more often than not we realise I am wearing a shirt or other item of clothing that is featured I the pictures while looking at the pictures. It is like some kind of strange flaw in the space-time continuum. We don't always acknowledge it for fear of the consequences (we're not sure if it will mean the end of the universe...… or just that we are getting really old!).
