old newbie

hi im scotty ive been interested in bikes all my life but only started riding again about 18 months ago after years of ill health and several life threatening scares and countless major operations .my grandad was the one who got me interested in road cycling hes long since passed away but i have medals he won in the 1920s also i have his cap badge from Dumbarton Wheelers cc but try as i might i can find no info on the cycling if any one reads this and has any info on said cycling club i would be most grateful to hear from them thanks

Hello, I have never heard of them, but the nearest club who might know anything is http://www.lomondroadscyclingclub.org.uk/ in Clydebank (about 8 miles away from Dumbarton).
