Out of sheer bloody nosiness, how did you get away with buying 8, EIGHT, Yes 8 bikes ??

& is that a head tube of a bike brand I don't know in your Avatar ??

The secret is to sneak themthen when asked say "I told you about that 4 months ago"

The headtube avatar picture if my Fort Veto RO.78.DB2
It's a fixed gear bike and you can read about it here[/QUOTE]
Cheers GGJ.

Tried the "told you about that" thing several times, OH wise to it & like an elephant Never Forgets.

Just joined for a bit of cycle chat. I'm currently laid up with a broken T4 vertebrae and can't cycle which is most annoying as I've been working hard throughout the winter months to increase my fitness for some serious cycling this year. I started cycling again 14 months ago after giving it up around 1990. I was in need of some exercise and had also gained a few pounds (like most of us do over the years) so decided to do something about it. I've managed to loose the weight and get the fitness up and now I'm under doctors orders not to cycle for the next few weeks
Welcome on board

Thanks to everyone for your kind words :hello:

Two weeks yesterday since my injury and I can now move around all be it with some pain but nothing like I was experiencing, I'm starting to heal so fingers crossed I can get out on the bike sooner than the estimated 6-8 weeks

Yesterday I did some work to my fixed gear bike and today I fitted some chain keepers to my carbon bikes, one has a habit of throwing the chain every now and then so I decided that fitting the chain keeper was a better option than having a chunk of carbon removed from the BB
