I once asked my husband why he felt the need to end every conversation, text message etc with 'I love you' (as I'm not prone to doing that).
He said that if something should happen to him, he would want me to remember the last thing he said to me....

Every time We go to sleep the last thing we tell each other is that we love each other. Every time one of us leaves home we tell each other and every time we get on a motorbike we tell each other.

Because we do.

It's been the same for 10 years and we have not had a single argument.
