Sevens is just running quickly and being able to hold a ball.

Great fun to play and watch, but really shouldn't be an Olympic sport.
I'm guessing that you have not played much 7s then ?

Much rather see 7s than bloody golf.

Have enjoyed this greatly.
Much saddened that GB played so well and came away with nothing.
Been good sport. As a RRSBB, those ladies are fit in all senses of the word as well.

Final on now .... Aussies and NZ .....
They got what their indiscipline deserved. The YC's were bang to rights and the peno count in the Bronze play-off was awful.

But it has been a wonderful advert for women's rugby and the best variant on earth, sevens.

To what level have you played it? I ask because, as someone who loved playing and refereeing sevens, there is so much more to it than that.

Heard an interview with one of the Brtitish players on the radio this morning and her opinion was the game is won in the tackle/breakdown and if you get on top there and win that and you usually come out the victors. Of course you do have to be quick and able to hold the ball too.
