Actually on the way home I found out that in fact they haven't removed all the temp lights after all, still got two sets on my return commute!!

Having the Olympics on your doorstep is like having a teenage party in your house.

You are not invited
They do not want you around
Please can you go off on holiday or something and we promise to clear up the mess before you get home (yeah, right)
The place will be trashed
it's on Facebook, everyone is invited (except you)
And please can you pay all the bills for the Party

but if you say that then you get called a miserable so and so. will be glad when its all over.

I cycled in an first offside Olympic lane last night, and will do so every day as it is the only way to turn right across Tower Bridge.on the north side.
