OMG - Britains got Talent tonight...

OK, against the flow of opinion, I like these talent/singing shows.

Tonight's Britains Got Talent showed why.
So they're in Glasgow, on comes this women, 49 but looks like a 59 y/o maiden aunt, she's unemployed and personality-wise seems like she might not get out often. She's gonna sing so Simon asks her who she would like to be as successful as? She replies "Elaine Page"... by this point my cringe-ometer is at 100% and the audience are starting to snigger. So she says she's going to sing a song from Les Miserables... more sniggereing and the music starts.
F*ck-me... she was absolutely brilliant, I mean not just good, but poised, composed, not a note or inflection missed or a wobble in her voice. Fantastic. Everybody were on their feet.
Tomorrow her life will be very different, she starting to live her dream, and I'm pleased to have witnessed the turning point. I hope she does well, on that performance she deserves a great future.

I did see a cringingly cute little kid singing and Amanda Holden's bottoxed face trying to express an Aaaaaahhh of emotion and just looking like a creased plastic bottle.

I was made to watch it while being stuck at my aunties.
The chavs that came on(the boy and the stroppy girl) made me laugh. You could tell they were going to be crap. Then when she started to be stroppy at the end

I thought that she was like Potts in that when she started to sing, everything you had thought about the person up to then completely changed. Cowell and co were completely gobsmacked.


The thing I want to knowi is, where have these people been practicing and polishing their performances to step into the limelight at 49?

I think they had "learning difficulties" didn't they (what's the pc way of saying backwards?). Seriously, i'm not joking, they came over like that to me anyway.

that woman who stripped off was feckin hilarious! those boobs!!!! OMG!!! they had tassles on! i saw one of the tassles flip up over the "union jack" i'm surprised who whole boob didn't flip up and flop over the union jack (for those who didn't see, they blocked out the boobs with 2 union jacks on screen, i suppose because it was before the watershed.. or was it after the watershed???!!! either way... no one needed to be subjected to that haha). Simon's face was a picture!

Are you sure they had learning difficulties? I thought they were just abit simple from being on a council estate and not going to school.
The woman that stripped off made me laugh. My cousin(whos only 13 i think, and goes to a pretty posh private school) thought she wasnt topless bless him. Just thought they put the union jacks there. Was very funny though i thought

There are some girls at my school that talk abit like that. They are just very simple(see how PC i am, i would normally say stupid/thick)

I think we need pics to compare though buggi, i think there will be many honest answers as to if your bum looks nicer/worse then hers.
I very much doubt it would be worse though going by the looks of hers

yep... they were hilarious!!! what made me laugh was Piers comment about whether the son was worried he'd end up like his dad... and then lo and behold they both came out looking the same. i was nearly falling off my seat laughing.
