I have completed the majority of my Tax Form on line, but would like to print a copy in case of any unfortunate incident. Has anyone managed to do this? Or do I get that option when I go to Submit my form?
Edit My mind had been obviously boggled
I now that I can print each page that I have completed
It was not the form itself that was complicated, but the logistics, ie the Hmrc site not liking Aol etc.
Does anyone know about Capital Gains? Is a Chargeable Event the same as a Capital Gain. nb No I have not made millions selling property in Central London, I have made a teensy weensy gain on a Life Assurance Policy. If you can explain the difference in plain English that would be heplful.
Anyone else enjoying the challenge of On-line Tax forms?

I filled in the paper form, to make sure I had all the figures needed, expecting the on-line forms to look similar, as you would. But I cannot find the Life Insurance Gains section on line.
When I go back on-line tomorrow, as you suggest, I will look for Life Assurance gains. I have the Chargeable Event Certificate and have calculated the "tax treated as paid".
