Yes mate, got them for the ribble along with some dhb shoes, they'll have to do for the time been.

To be honest i like em very easy to use. Luckily i don't have to walk far, as they are a pig to walk in.

In the future i will change them for the shimano double sided ones as they will suit the use of the bike better.

It won't rust, it's light with a strong wheel set and it will be good in the snow as well, positions quite racey compared to some hybrids as well.

It's a good winter choice, if it's sliding drop out set up single speeds do-able as well if you want to save the drive train from road salt.


The drop -outs are swappable, so yes i could. May or maynot go down the hub gear route but that could be some time off yet,. if indeed i even do it.

They aren't a pig to walk in, you just don't know how to do it.
