I've got his records and I've seen him play live but I don't know him. He's the coolest singer all the way from Austin, Texas near Leicester.
I have some of his stuff but my ex has all of it. She was also part responsible for his
Vince and the Viletone days. She wrote their biographies and characters.
I have a very rare live recording of a 'Vince' gig and a radio interview with the band.
We met Wes through a mutual friend, Maurice McElroy, (ex knew Maurice before I did but seperately) who used to play percussion for Wes but is now in the
Spikedrivers. I get their albums sent to me FOC from my ex.
Through them we got to know Kimmie Rhodes. And Kimmie is my forth degree of seperation from Willie Nelson, whom I've not met as yet.
