Who wants to spend their last cycle tour somewhere where its flat?! Nothing worse than pedalling across endless flat terrain.
The Icefields Parkway is excellent to cycle and mostly fairly gentle gradients.
New Zealand's west coast (South Island) is always worth doing again, I've done it three times (slightly biased as I lived there at Franz Josef for a couple of years).
If I was to go somwhere new for the two weeks I think it would be Japan but I'd need to research the route a bit more to get the best bits.

wow - loads of great places but I was hoping a few people would suggest the same location

still no closer to deciding my next tour - inspiration please and thanks for the replies so far

Of all the European countries I've been to so far I found Slovenia to be the most spectacular. Great hils and friendly people. It's whetted my appetite to try Croatia, Serbia & Bosnia at some point but I fancy they'll be less 'civilized'!
The last 2, I mean, in terms of tourism.
