I've been using the Onguard lock every week since about May and now the lock won't undo. The keys just turn in the lock with one key almost breaking. The lock is currently in two parts as I could unlock it but cannot now turn key to pull bolts back to allow D to go into shackle (if you follow). I've tried GT85 and squirting chain oil in the lock but no joy. Any suggestions, please?

What ever you do, don't force the keys.

Squirt a shed load of lube in, leave it so the stuff can't run out, and let it soak.

Any chance someone could have attacked it with super glue ?

WD40 worked where GT85 had failed so no super glue. However, Amazon will replace the part so happy. To prevent similar, does anyone know the best way to maintain these? Do you oil the key hole and holes for the shackle?

Just squirt lube in every so often - depends - if the lock is exposed to the weather, then a quick squirt every couple of weeks. Into the lock and the holes for the shackle. Light lube like GT85 (WD isn't a lube) or similar.
