Online butcher recommendation

As above - I'd normally as on FB but it's a suprise.

I need to get some tenderloin for a chateaubriand for Friday. The local butcher isn't great, M&S won't have it till Saturday, and if I'm going to splash out on a treat I'd prefer to get it from somewhere with a good reputation. Any recommendations?

Not something I would buy via the net.

My son is a butcher but only does online deliveries locally.

@wisdom , a lot of the produce in farm shops isn't from that farm. I've seen many farm shops around here selling beef when they don't even have cattle. It's worth checking first or buying from a decent butcher who can tell you the provenance of the meat.

Totally agree but where I go they do everything as they have a large farm.So it's 100% traceable.The venison they sell is from a local estate so again I know what I am buying.Yes it's a little bit dearer than supermarkets but the taste is far superior.We have lost so many good butchers because of supermarkets.I like to think I am doing my bit.

No I wouldn't normally, but google brings up quite a few and seen as with things like filet you have to order in advance anyhow...

A quality cut like that needs a bit more attention to detail than your going to get from the net.

They deliver (and they do chicken and beef... I thank you)

They released there xmas catalogue a few weeks ago some of the stuff in there looked phenomenal . Spoke to a lady on delivery she said they get a hamper every year and it’s always a winner.
