Online charity giving ... advice on setting up

I'm doing the 3 Peaks of the UK for a charity in July and I've asked about online giving. It's not something they've done before and wanted me to check.

So ... has anyone experience of both setting up as a charity and/or setting up your own on any of:

Just Giving, which I know charges quite a bit: http://www.justgiving.com/
Charity Giving, which I don't know about but is free: http://www.charitygiving.co.uk/

Look at the how much money the relative organisations take from what you raise. At least 5% for Justgiving plus card fees.
More money will get to the charity if you use Virgin. 2% I believe.

I was shocked at how much of what I raised was going to a profit making organisation when I looked into JustGiving. As you can see from the above link then for the majority of UK donations, when Gift aid is likely to be used Virgin comes out top.
