I used to play, not particularly high stakes, mostly online although I played a few live tournaments. Normally Texas Holdem but occasionally Omaha. I knew what I was doing and always made a bit doing it, but only as a bit of fun.
I prefer cycling in my spare time now . Poker can take bloody ages if you go anywhere in a tournament rather than at a cash table.
I have a mate who plays fairly high stakes stuff. A few of his friends play professionaly and have earned some serious cash doing it. Not for me though.
