I bought one MJ818 from bikelightcompany and another from magicshinelamps, both on ebay. Can't remember which from where but light + battery was round £37, then I bought a second MJ818 (light only) plus splitter cable, for about £25.

They're incredibly bright. People (not only other cyclists) are always asking me where I got them.
Best rear light I've ever owned.

Is this what you have?

Cant see any of his other listings about a battery though

I always keep a small turtle light attached to my jacket just in case. They are not much use for proper commuting . But in an emergency set them to blink mode and they do an excellent job of alerting everyone. Cost about one pound fifty, replacement batter coast as much as a new light.

That's certainly the light.
I think my MJ818 + battery came from magicshinelamps. Unfortunately, although the seller is still listed (http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/magicshinelamps), they haven't anything currently available and haven't sold anything since December 2011. I'll have a look around and see if I can find an outlet for the light + battery for you.

These MS rears are the muts, my neighbour has one and I`d wished I did buy at the time but cannae help feeling they have gone up alot  Its on my list of things to get anyway, my recent purchase of the MS clone XML-T6 is a beaut. Bright as ....... with the added option of flash, although I tend to point he light down in traffic as it can be blinding, or so I have been told :becool:

It'll only shorten the battery life. If it is the same as mine (4 x 18650 lithium battery cells in a waterproof pack) it can run the rear on steady plus my front on 50% for over a week.

How long are you getting from a full charge now?

I need my fronts running 100% as 50% just isnt bright enough, prob get around 3 hrs on 100%

thats a fairly bright light as well!

Yeah its a fairly decent light, does what i need it to do ^_^
