Oops, no shirt in the office...

Never done this before until today.

I normally stockpile clothes in the office, but today there was no shirt to change into. Asked around for one, but no such luck.

So I'm wearing one of these, which is a festive red colour, so rather apt!

I take a clean shirt everyday with me, fold it up, put it in a dry bag, bottom of rucksack, then let the creases drop out whilst I have a shower.

Been there, I've had to buy emergency socks, boxers, shirts, overshoes and even a rucksack at different points

Been there. Fortunately I work near a large ASDA with a clothes section.

I refer to it as "my tailor, George".

I once turned up to the office without a pair of shoes for a meeting with the one senior manager who is an absolute stickler for "correct" dress. Fortunately there's an M&S next door.

These days I just commute in my suit.

I did the same and just wore a lab coat all day ... fortunately I have the legs for it ....

I think most of us have/will do it at sometime I did it one saturday morning, did my first trip at work (train driver) with jacket fully zipped up & then had 30 mins turn round time at Brid, so nipped to local tesco & bought a light blue shirt for £4

Forgot shoes once. Wore SPD-SLs around uni for a day

I feel I was making a fashion statement to be honest - jeans with shimano brand shoes, walking like a penguin and sounding like I was in high heels...

Did it once with trousers. Only realised when I got out of the shower at work. Got back into my wet lycra (obviously it had been raining that day) and rode all the way home, turned around and back into the office, for my second shower of the day. Brought a spare set of slacks from home and left them in my locker on that day... never going to make that mistake twice
