I once spent a day at work sans undies - it was oddly liberating. I now have spares of everything in my draw just in case!

I had to borrow a waterproof top to cycle home yesterday as it was nice in the morning so I hadn't packed one, but I suppose it would have been better to get home wet than arrive at work that way with nothing to change into... The worst thing I've forgotten was when I arrived at work, went to lock my bike up and realised I'd left my keys in the front door of my flat! :banghead:

I keep a spare set of clothes in my drawer at work just in case.

For the first time ever, I had to resort to actually using them the other day when i forgot to put my work clothes in my bag before leaving the house.

I had to pop in on a Saturday once, didn't bother taking anything in with me as i assumed the office would be empty. The cleaner had come in to do a deep clean, cue me sitting at my desk fully clad in all my lycra glory.

I've only ever found myself (rather embarassingly) missing my underwear (including my bra). I had cycled in wearing my bib tights which (cough) are tight enough not to require a bra. Ended up having to be taken home to get knickers & bra because I worked in a school and needed to start work faster than it would take me to cycle the 40 mins home, get what I needed and cycle the 50 mins back (all up hill on the way in to the office)... never repeated...

Been there. Fortunately I work near a large ASDA with a clothes section.

I refer to it as "my tailor, George".

'My italian tailor, Giorgio'

2 suits kept at work, plus a full set of emergency clothes.

However, I'm an academic, so if I wanted to stay in lycra I probably could. And do if I'm in only for an hour or so.

It didn't occur to me that I would need spare knickers after a wet ride to work once
I sometimes think my shoes are there when they're not, but wearing pink trainers is not the biggest uniform crime of the century.
One of the young lads who comes in on a scooter quite often forgets his work clothes.
