I'm currently planning for a 2 week cycle touring holiday going from Milan to London. Currently, I have 4 options as shown in the map.

3 of the options uses cycle routes by EuroVelo.

Does anyone have any experience on any of these routes? Which ones will be the easiest?

Option 1 (Green):
-Riding Distance 1473km
-Total Ascend 12060m (RidewithGPS) / 7500m (Runtastic)
-Mainly following the route from Ride 999 (http://andrewdoran.uk/blog/2015/04/01/come-ride-with-me/) through 10 countries, with minor re-routing to Andermatt rather than Campodolcino to stick to more bike-friendly roads.

Option 2 (Yellow):
-Riding Distance 1828km
-Total Ascend 8100m (RidewithGPS) / 3600m (Runtastic)
-Mainly following the Rhine Route EuroVelo15. (Starting from EV5 -> EV15 -> EV2)

Option 3 (Red):
-Riding Distance 1935km
-Total Ascend 8010m (RidewithGPS) / 3650m (Runtastic)
-Similar to Option 2, but rerouted to go through Belgium (EV5->EV15->EV4->EV5)

Option 4 (Blue):
-Riding Distance 1810km
-Total Ascend 13500m (RidewithGPS) / 6800m (Runtastic)
-EuroVelo 5

I've done the straight line from the Hook to Dusseldorf a couple of times now, on your map going green -> red -> yellow. So going the other way should be easy as it's all signposted.
I've also done the Rhine route Dusseldorf -> Konstanz. Again easy.

I think it comes down to how you cross the Alps and which ferry port do you want to aim for.

Yellow is the route I would pick

The Rhine cycle path is a good one to follow, lots of back up, decent food, and boats and trains if you fancy a day off. Also the scenery is stunning (in sections)
