Ordering a new inner tube

I’m trying to order a replacement inner tube. The one I’m trying to replace is marked 700X33/50C (33/50-622) it is I believe a presta valve (not the car type). I’ve looked online but can’t seem to find an exact match. Any advice on what to get is appreciated. Thanks

Important bits are the 700c (wheel size) and something in the range of 33-55mm - that's the width of tyre they will fit.

What's the tyre width ?

The 700 & 622 refer to the tyre and bead seat diameters, and need to be correct. The 33/50 is the range of tyre widths it will cover, and as long as it spans the tyre width you're actually using it doesn't need to be exactly the same as the old tube.

Thank you it is starting to make sense now

Not sure but quite wide it is a gravel bike

It will be on the sidewall of the tyre...

700c and 622mm are used interchangeably - first is the size identified through the queer French convention, the second is the bead seat diameter in mm.

The rest is the tyre width in mm - ideally you want to go with something that will cover all possible bases to be on the safe side; or at least make sure what you have fitted now is in the middle-ish of the range should you choose to go larger or smaller in future..
