Original SRAM XX1 Derailuer Hanger Bolt

I don't like the original xx1 deraileur hanger bolt with the torx head; mine easily strips. Can an old x7/x9 hex head deraileur bolt fit on the xx1? I have never had a problem with a hex bolt stripping and I would keep the original xx1 torx bolt as a backup.
