I misread his post, I thought he meant he hadn't been allowed to skate, not that he couldn't cos of ill health....

No idea about the L2B myself, couldn't imagine anything worse, I'm more of a lone cyclist myself!

Thanks, but don't be too impressed. It's probably not that different to cycling 80 or 100 miles, assuming lots of skating fitness and reasonable technique.
