My arm hurts - and I think it was my fault:sad:. I was turning right, signalling to the other cyclists, and I think the front wheel bounced up... all I know is I fell on my right side tangled up in the bike. Cyclists and peds to the rescue. Managed to walk the last 100m to the office then bust into tears infront of the security guard.

I ended up going to a&E and they don't know if its broken - some shadow on the film so its in a sling and now I want sympathy and someone to type for me. No cycling for at least 2 days and an appointment to go back.

And I keep getting spasms of pain. Want sympathy NOW:angry:;)
And I won't have to make pancakes now:ohmy:.

Awwww bless. Have a virtual hug and a cuppa and for today only several pancakes soaked in a mixture of orange and lemon juices then rolled in sugar.
Get well soon! ;)

Maybe a medicinal brandy soaked in would help;).

Oooh, you have my sympathies. My fractured legbone showed as a shadow on the X-Ray, they then gave me a CT scan and confirmed the break; take it easy until you get confirmation one way or the other. I hope they issued you with some decent painkillers.

Err me being me refused the pain killers ... lasted 5 hours then took some ibroprofien. I was considering riding until I relized I couldn't pull the bakes on. Some one gave me and bike a lift home - bike seems ok .. they quickly checked it over and reported gears abit noisy and front wheel not running smoothly. (Well it may have had those probs before as I noticed brake nose yest. and gears this morning on way in. Heres hoping not new probs.

They asked me if I was wearing a helmet but didn't directly ask me if I hit my head.

:smile: Ouch! Sorry to hear about that. Mucho sympathy! :smile:

Now back to business.

This thread is useless without pictures. Did you get it on helmet camera?

:evil::smile:

Get well soon!

More ammo for my developing theory that cyclists should not be encouraged or expected to give hand signals.
Hope you're feeling better soon Summerdays, here, have a sympathetic glass of cheap wine.
