A few warm up videos then the crash. It does not look fun at all.
0:38 was really scary. Some people just have a basic inability to drive and it is scary. Somehow they pass the test placed before them. I will not go further as it will end up CA&D.
Many a car would have lost their mirrors and scraped body work that day.

Yes, I don't know if camera footage bestows the viewer with foresight denied the cyclist but I got that impression. OTOH who would ride into a car they could avoid?

Most likely because he was focussed on the car approaching from the left as this was the most likely threat. At least that is what I was doing when I was hit in a very similar way, except I went over the top of the car.

Not so sure about that. If you go by UK road markings then the cyclist never crossed a give way line & the motorist cut into the cycle lane which is technically not part of the road & thus was driving in an illegal manner.

Yep he cut into the cycle lane, but the rider put himself between the car and the curb which was pretty stupid imho.

We can agree on that but the motorist didn't have right of way
