Hit a patch of ice and fell off the bike less than a mile from my house earlier  Now sporting a bruise the size of a dinner plate of my hip, bruises on my knee and elbow and a rip in my windproof jacket  Good news though is that the bike is OK:smile:

Isnt it funny that no matter how hard you go down, its always the bike you check first.

If you can check the bike then you've come off you've almost certainly not got a serious injury.

Just got my bike fixed (£120 just before xmas!!!) still got fluid on my elbow (3 weeks now) although most of the scabs have fallen off my knee (nice), ruined my winter tights and jacket (new ones on my list to santa) more upset with my bike than injury
