Go by Fortheringhay, Elton and Oundle road, its much more bike friendly, in a wee while you'll be tempted

Seconded, I was tempted by this route into work before I got a new job and now dont have to travel as far.

Life is good.

It is a possibility but would need to set off for work 2 hours earlier, one to get there and the other to recover before I can actually speak again plus my favourite rides involve stopping at rural pubs to enjoy the scenery

Mike and Lotty, Nice area to ride around. Kingscliffe Flyers are a good club for Sunday rides if/when you get strong enough. Lookout for TotallyFixeds rides around Rutland which I am informed are well worth a visit. (I haven't been because I don't exist yet). Enjoy your riding and stay safe

been to a couple of the kingsciffe flyers tt on a tuesday but never got round to the sunday rides they do - i can say that they are a real friendly bunch on tuesdays and really helpful
