Just reserved (booking.com) our hotels for next Aprils Euro adventure.
After years of package holidays, we booked our own this year. It was reasonably successful so for next year we have gone a few more steps.
The plan is:-
3 days in valenciennes, to watch the Paris Roubaix race on the Arenberg
2 days in Ypres to visit the Menin gate and the museums
3 days in Amsterdam visiting Mrs Auds family.
All by train apart from Amsterdam to Uk by plane.
If we ever manage it i will be amazed, but if i dont try i never will.
Any tips on travel arrangments, train booking, etc please feel free to post.
