Also I know where he hangs out ;)...or rather waits to pick his children up from school, but I hardly think it would be fair to reveal this over an online forum. I think he is hilarious and I hope he keeps appearing on my box :biggrin:

...BBC1, anybody watch it?
I think it is absolutely brilliant, pure british humour at it's best with excellent acting from the children :biggrin:

The goat thing..:smile::rofl::biggrin:

That kid is just so funny.

Oooh, you think? I really like him....:smile: <waves> Hellloooo!

He did the Etape one year, I think...

Outnumbered is brilliant, the kids are all stars, that girl is amazing... Better improvisation from them than a lot of grown up comedians. And the fact that it's improvised makes the reactions of the adults so much more convincing, because you can see them doing a bit of a double take sometimes...

apparently..... the children in "Outnumbered" aren't acting in the conventional manner. They are filmed separately having different conversations. They are then cut into the scenes with adults. You can spot this sometimes, but they are very natural - its very clever

I remember one great eg of this when Hugh Dennis was explaining to Ben that it's always wrong to hit people, and Ben said something like: 'What, even if someone attacks you with a shovel?', and you could see from Hugh Dennis's reaction his brain desperately grappling with 'with a shovel? Why a shovel? Where did that come from?'

Best episode was "The Wedding" within which every sketch was a gem. Especially when the vicar gets trapped by the two younger kids.

Written by the same guys who wrote the excellent Drop the Dead Donkey, Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkins.

However best sketch was when the daughter held a burial service in the garden, on her own, for her dead hamster which she said her Mum had killed, deliberately.

Just watched last nights special. Simply delightful. Just proves that funny does not have to involve offence.

My brother in law recommended this and had Ryan Stiles and Hugh Dennis confused. I've not seen any of it previously but will i-player it along with The Gruffalo at some point.

Recorded it last night for family viewing today ... I'm hoping there wasn't a reason it was on so late at night!!!

It works so well for all ages.....Some humour is adult, but not unacceptable. The interplay between Hugh and the divorced friend was subtle and funny.it would go unnoticed by the kids though

Beware.......
it could give your kids ideas!

Ollie's (3) classic today; after a very poorly night with much vomiting (worse than the exorcist) & two very tired parents, around mid-afternoon picking up in his mood. & health...
