No, as is in the smaller text, my dog had an inflamed prostate and was bleeding quite profusely from his willy. Being 15, I couldn't drive but I phoned the vets anyway - they told me to get there when I could, but in the mean time to put pressure on it.

Eventually found the neighbour of a friend who was able to give me a lift up there, and that's when the TV crew arrived.

As for the climate - well, it is 'as warm as the North' here in London...positively sweaty (but that might be due to me wrestling with an M+ after finding a broken spoke on my back wheel.) Roll on Summer eh.
