The Tap House does some interesting ale.
The Stonewell Tavern, Ye Olde John 'o Gaunt and Robert Gillow are good for live music
The Ramblers cafe in Arnside does an excellent all day breakfast
Ye Olde Fighting Cocks in Arnside has a great beer garden.

Cheers, but i doubt i'll be doing it again any time soon 308 miles & aprrox 16000ft of climbing, in 4 days was about my limit & might do something less strenuous when i think about my next tour
