Overnighting in Paris with bikes

Hi All,

My wife and I are heading down to the Loire for a few days cycle touring, and we're overnighting in Paris. Does anyone know of of cycle storage that we can pre-book, or can anyone recommend a hotel - reasonably central, between Gare du Nord and Gare d'Austerlitz (or Gare Montparnasse) - that will securely store our bikes?

Cheers - Adam...

we kept ours at the hotel we stayed in Paris near the station (i think it was a best western one?) when we did London to Paris a couple of years ago.

Just take the bikes into your room! - the George V or the Crillon might object. Chains like Etap/Ibis are usually no problem.

I've stayed at the IBIS across the road from the Gare du Nord and the bike has been stored in a room next to the bar (or worst case locked up in the courtyard at the back)

Hi all - thanks for the recommendations. I've contacted (and had a reply from) Hotel Castex - they've got a courtyard which we can use. I'll contact a few more of the recommedations - happy to use the room, but two bikes in some of the rooms we've occupied in the past in Paris would be a real squeeze!

I stayed in an Ibis in Montmartre. My room wasn't big enough to put my bike in. They gave it a room of its own (foc).
