⚠️ Oxendon Tunnel Closure – 13 July to 21 August ⚠️
Oxendon Tunnel and a short section of the Brampton Valley Way will be closed from this coming Monday (13 July) until 21 August while essential improvement works are carried out.
The work will improve the path surface and drainage through the tunnel, helping to keep it safe and accessible for walkers and cyclists for many years to come.
Th closure affects the tunnel, nearby section of the trail and the small parking area. The rest of the Brampton Valley Way and Kelmarsh Tunnel will remain open.
A signed diversion route will be in place, but please note it includes slopes, steps and stiles, making it unsuitable for cycles, wheelchairs and pushchairs.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience and thank you for your patience while these important works are completed.
