I couldnt believe it 10 mins into my ride I hear a nasty noise get off and the rear is deflating on the turbo so pull my bike off and fix my step daughters xs giant defy to the turbo fit my mtb seat post in and off I go. I was a tad cramped being 6ft 1. has anyone had a p--ture while on the turbo ? this is a first for me

Back to the point... yep, I have. assume it was a flint quite happy staying in the carcass and not bothering the inner tube on the road, but pushed further in by the shorter and sharper deformation of the tyre on the turbo roller.

Trev, Wendy and me set up to do a Sufferfest together (ooh err) on Monday night. 6 minutes in, Wendy gets a puncture! She went off and did a few miles running to get her exercise in while I finished the Vid.

Reckon it must be where something gets into the tyre on the road and then it works its way through into the inner tube after a while on the turbo.

I've had a puncture whilst on the turbo before, never found the cause, assumed it was something from the last time the bike was used on the road.

I had one on a bike that had been on turbo-duty for a couple of years, so presumed it was inner tube failure rather than something sharp migrating through the tyre
