Hi :hello: anyone own a brompton with p type handle bars? How do you find it for hills and long rides it's said to be the better for touring the p handle bar. I wounder if brompton are putting the new 2017 gear shifters on the p bars

I have P bars on my Brommie. I toured twice this summer on it (650 miles in Holland and Germany, and 170 miles The Way of the Roses). I'm 1.83m tall, have long legs and take a 58cm frame on my road bike. I find the P bars v comfortable.

When these first came out I had one to test. While I found it very comfortable, I did have some difficulty when cycling into a headwind, hands at the lower part: for emergency braking it became necessary to move UP to the higher position to reach the levers! That took more time than I would have liked.
