He cheated; it wasn't the standard saddle. It had been modified to something a bit less tortuous!
Still wouldn't have liked to cover those rides on it though.

My partner took our son to a sports class and they all went out to watch him go past. My partner had no idea what it was about. Still he rode straight past a bunch of kids in sportss kit and barely acknowledged. I guess he was tired and hanging on.

My mate got a MK1 in 1970, i tried it out and decided I'd stick with a normal shaped bike.
Respect to McGuinness for doing 300 miles on that thing though.

Hats off, that was some feat 😎👍

Thoroughly enjoyed his Road Tripping with Chris Harris: a short series of three episodes around Europe: less of a car journey, more a story about men’s health, tbh - very well put together, worth looking up 💪
